Back in 2009 I was called to chiropractic. In my undergraduate years of schooling my original plans were to become a medical doctor. After spending months of serving in the local ER, and shadowing several medical and osteopathic doctors I realized I wasn’t as passionate about medicine as I had thought I would be. I realized that medicine wasn’t the right path for me, and so I decided to forego my pursuit to medical school and to fall back on my business management degree. It was a hard decision because I thought that was my career path. However, I was blessed to find a great job in the business world taking me and my family to Dallas, TX. While in Texas I felt compelled to seek out more education above what my undergraduate degree provided. So I started looking into MBA and Masters programs. While contemplating the next steps I had been seeking guidance through prayer over several months until one day God illuminated my mind to the profession of chiropractic. Never had I been to a chiropractor before, and nor did I really know much about what they did other than it didn’t involve drugs or surgery. As I looked into it more I said to myself, “Where have you been all my life?” Chiropractic resonated with me, and I truly feel and believe that God opened my eyes to see how my talents, strengths and interests coincide so well with what chiropractic is all about. I haven’t looked back since, and I am so happy I embarked on this wonderful journey!
I chose to become a chiropractor because it was the only profession that I felt would complement and honor the amazing ability that our bodies have to heal itself. Our bodies are incredible gifts and creations. We only get one, and I as a chiropractor want to make sure that the time we spend within our bodies can be the best possible experience by enhancing our natural abilities to heal, to thrive, and to live life to its fullest.
The way I feel confident in doing this is through chiropractic – which focuses on creating the most optimal expression of life and health and ultimately create the best possible versions of ourselves. This is not unrealistic. Naturally there are infirmities and diseases that will happen, that is life, and in my beliefs sometimes I believe that’s part of God’s plan for us, but I do believe that God expects us to do all in our power to do our best to respect the amazing gift he gave us – our bodies! Honestly, if we don’t have our health how can we expect to be our best with our families, our work, our hobbies, and to enjoy life to the fullest? We are all worth the investment!
Our purpose is to provide hope, peace of mind, freedom and confidence to our patients and our community in assisting them to become the best possible version of themselves. And to educate, empower, and inspire our patients to have confidence in taking ownership for their own health.
Let us help you as we guide you to a healthier and happier life!
